The medical Imaging and 3D perception laboratory is one of the four research labs that belongs to VICOROB research group on Computer Vision and Robotics, which has more than 20 years of experience in research at the Universitat de Girona (UdG). The centre is made up of a total of 40 people, including permanent scientific staff, academics, postdoctoral fellows as well as a large number of PhD students and technical staff.
Its research is applied in the fields of the medical image, 3D perception for industrial inspection and robotics and underwater vision.
